The Cart

Addison is now steady enough to sit in the cart. She has only done so once - but she loved it. It made our Costco trip more enjoyable because she was happy to sit up high and see everything that was going on.
She doesn't love having to stay in her infant seat because she leans back so far that she can't see what's going on and the ceiling only makes a nice view for so long. She's so funny in the cart because she would almost never hold the handle (despite what this picture shows). She would hold her arms out and move them around to gain her balance. It was so cute to watch her work her little arms and legs to keep from falling over. I kept trying to get her to hold the cart handle and this is the only time she did. She might turn out to be just a little independent :)

Loving the updates! It is amazing how something as simple as being able to sit up in a cart can make life so much more easy and enjoyable for both Mom and and baby; I have a love/hate relationship with my kids learning new skills...fun to watch and move onto a new stage but a little sad too!

I bought the convertible car seat, but now I am afraid to put it in the car because then where will Aiden sit while I shop??? I am worried that although he does fine in the bumbo that the shopping cart thing I have for him won't give him enough support....but he is really getting to big for his car seat. She is so cute, and I love the shoes.

Ha ha. I just came to the realization that jackson could do that also--even though he's been sitting up for the last 4 months. Love those ah ha moments!
